Watching a total of… fifteen anime this season.
Well, this is going to be fun.
Buddy Complex: Basically a carbon copy of every Sunrise mecha anime ever. At least it isn’t Valvrave.
Gin no Saji S2: Yes. (This is a good ‘yes’.)
Hamatora: Over-saturated, neon colors and strobing effects that need to come with an epilepsy warning. Also, it’s Seiji Kishi so the pacing is shot to hell. Overall, very standard characters and plot.
Hoozuki no Reitetsu: I got to see the goldish plants animated. I am satisfied for life.
Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha.: Inari exists 10/10. (I am going to cry if this series is adapted badly.)
Kill la Kill: Mako and Harime 10/10. Other awesome girls 9/10. Everything else 5/10.
Nagi no Asukara: Better than its first cour but the love polygon clusterfuck is getting super out of hand. At least Shioshisho has disappeared from the picture, so there’s less terribad worldbuilding.
Nobunaga the Fool: What the fuck is going on. Why is everyone a historical figure in space. What. The soundtrack is good, though.
Noragami: Fantastic visuals and great soundtrack. Still waiting for the story to pick up, though.
Samurai Flamenco: Even with the sudden plot twists and the strange genre changes, I still really like this. Gotou is still the best.
Sekai Seifuku: Cute little girl taking over the world? Yeah. 10/10. Also Kuroboshi Kouhaku character designs. 9000/10.
Space Dandy: I gotta say, I’m impressed by the quality of the dub. The humor is very spot-on. The visuals and soundtrack are both great too. A nice, casual watch so far.
Super Sonico The Animation: This is actually… not offensive at all. I am impressed. I basically got exactly what I came looking for: a cute girl living out her singing/modeling/student life.
Wake Up, Girls!: This honestly bored me. Still, at least I get some cute girls!! The budget for this is nonexistent, though.
Wizard Barristers: Wow, this was incredibly… Umetsu. That’s really the only way to describe it. This could either be really good or really bad. But it looks to be at least entertaining, regardless.
I’m also watching Double Circle, but I don’t think that really counts, since it’s in a five-minute ONA format. And all I can say about it so far is: Kinako character designs 10/10.
